In Liz we trust(ed)
Original artwork, decoupage on an A2 panel using the financial times from 13th October 2022, the day after the mini-budget was announced by Liz Trust.
The face is non-descript, representative of so many people affected by the decisions of so few. The deep dark empty eyes create the feeling of emptiness and loss. The rouge lips constructed of a bold red full-page advert torn and shaped to represent the “covering up” or “brave face” worn by so many in such hard times.
